Scope3 is a fully remote company and largely asynchronous to provide flexible working hours and to operate globally, with concentrations in New York and Europe. At this time, we are hiring in Canada, Australia, UK, France, Germany, and the United States.
About The Role
We are hiring a
Head of Brand Standards & Consulting to join our globally distributed Solutions & Success team. Reporting to the Global Head of Customer Success & Solutions, you will work closely with our advertiser, platform & publisher clients to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations around content classification. This role requires deep knowledge of both content avoidance and targeting capabilities that advertisers rely on, ranging from sensitive topics such as copyright infringement, hate speech, and misinformation to contextual targeting topics such as sports, leisure, and fashion.
The Solutions Consultant must have a deep knowledge and/or interest in content classifications. Specifically, you will be responsible for evaluating the efficacy of our AI classification system on online content (websites and apps) through thorough data analysis and conversations with different players and ruling bodies in the industry. Your role will involve educating partners on integrating our content alignment model into their solutions, while also providing continuous guidance on Brand Standards and brand alignment. You will play a critical role in product implementation and refinement at Scope3, gaining a deep understanding of our content registration mechanisms and how they align with brand expectations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and Interpret Data: Utilize SQL to query databases, extract relevant data, and perform detailed analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in content classification.
- Issue Identification and Resolution: Proactively monitor classification data to detect and resolve issues, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the classification system.
- AI System Training and Improvement: Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to refine and enhance the AI algorithms used for content classification. Provide feedback and insights based on data analysis to improve the system's accuracy and efficiency.
- Technical Communication: Clearly explain the classification processes and system functionalities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help our publishers/platform partners, media clients and internal teams understand and effectively use the classification system.
- Continuous Learning and Adaptation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in content classification, machine learning, and data analysis techniques. Apply this knowledge to continuously improve the classification system and processes.
Previous Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish, French, or German is a plus.
- Strong understanding of online content classification and moderation on the open web.
- Proven track record of engaging in complex client engagements within the advertising tech ecosystem, ideally from experience with publishers or ad tech platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects effectively.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data: Experience in writing SQL queries and/or Python and analyzing data to identify issues and improve systems.
