The Role
We are seeking a strategic and innovative team member to lead the evolution of our marketing technology architecture and integration practices. This role will pioneer new approaches for how data is collected, connected, and activated across systems — going beyond traditional data warehouse processes to unlock greater agility and insight.
The ideal candidate will drive seamless interoperability between our CRM, digital, and marketing platforms, enabling automation, real-time analytics, and enhanced data accessibility. This role will work cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Business Intelligence, and Marketing to ensure our technology stack delivers maximum value and scale.
A key focus will be modernizing our architecture to fully leverage investments in Adobe, Salesforce, and Microsoft ecosystems, while championing best practices and fostering a culture of experimentation, innovation, and continuous improvement. This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.
The Main Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation, design and optimization of complex implementations of marketing and sales technology, based on deep expertise and knowledge of best practices.
- Enable standardization and scale across complex marketing and sales automation solutions to enable AI use cases, flexible data modeling and rapid analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new pilot programs driving business growth and maximize the value of Marketing automation.
- Serve as a critical liaison between Marketing and IT, ensuring marketing technology solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needs.
- Design and develop scalable middleware applications to bridge integration gaps between marketing and enterprise systems.
- Partner with Business Intelligence and Data Science team members to improve predictive analytics and machine learning-driven recommendations.
- Drive the continual optimization of our Adobe implementation to improve data unification, customer insights, and omnichannel marketing.
- Integrate AI into work processes, decision-making and problem-solving, using AI-powered tools, workflow automation, and AI-driven analytics.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology partners, ensuring we maximize the use of their capabilities.
- Develop and implement best practices for solution architecture, development, and deployment.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of technology solutions, addressing any technical challenges and optimizing performance.
- Generate ongoing leadership support and buy-in on the strategic value of technology partnerships by providing ongoing updates and developing a broad network of leadership engagement.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- 10+ years of experience working with Sales and Marketing technology platforms and CRM ecosystems (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce, Microsoft).
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Analytical Engineering, including writing and optimizing SQL queries
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with API consumption, API gateways, and cloud-based RDBMS platforms (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud strategies, including Azure services and enterprise data integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead AI adoption initiatives, particularly in the areas of personalization, content generation, and predictive analytics.
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, IT, Finance, and BI teams.
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture principles and cloud technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience presenting both strategic and tactical information to leadership, with a track-record of working through ambiguity, driving alignment and securing buy-in from all levels of an organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of SQL theory and data warehousing best practices.
- Experience with cloud-based architecture design, particularly within Azure.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Node.js for data and integration tasks.
- Experience with attribution modeling and multi-touch journey analysis.
- Expertise in web debugging, using tools such as Google Chrome DevTools and network inspectors.
- Familiarity with client- and server-side tracking strategies, including pixel implementation, tag management systems, and event instrumentation.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. |
