We are seeking a strategic, customer-obsessed Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market efforts for our core networking portfolio, including enterprise Wi-Fi, switching hardware, and network management solutions like ExtremeCloud™ IQ and Universal Platforms.
This role is pivotal in aligning product innovations with market needs, driving demand and pipeline, and differentiating Extreme in a highly competitive landscape. You will work closely with product management, sales, and platform marketing to shape messaging, build compelling enablement tools, and execute launch strategies that fuel growth and win market share.
Key Responsibilities
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead GTM planning for product launches and updates across wired, wireless, and network management portfolios.
• Positioning & Messaging: Develop compelling, customer-centric messaging that clearly communicates the value of cloud-managed infrastructure and AI-driven operations.
• Sales & Channel Enablement: Create impactful tools such as sales plays, pitch decks, battlecards, and ROI calculators to drive field success and partner activation.
• Campaign Collaboration: Work with demand generation and digital teams to support integrated campaigns with persona-based content that converts.
• Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor moves (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Juniper), delivering timely insights and recommendations to inform sales and product strategy.
• Customer Advocacy: Partner with the marketing and sales enablement teams, customer success, presales, and field teams to capture customer stories and validation for use in content and GTM programs.
What Success Looks Like
• 9–12 month ROI through increased pipeline generation, faster product time-to-market, and improved conversion rates.
• $25–35M in influenced sales pipeline annually through strategic enablement and product marketing execution.
• Clear and consistent product positioning that empowers our sellers and partners to win against cloud-managed incumbents.
Qualifications
• 7+ years of product marketing experience in B2B technology, with a focus on networking, SaaS, or IT infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of enterprise wired and wireless networking, SD-WAN, network management, or cloud-managed services.
• Proven success in building GTM strategies, launching products, and supporting sales with impactful enablement assets.
• Exceptional communication skills—written, visual, and verbal—with an eye for translating technical features into customer value.
• Experience in competitive research, customer segmentation, and buyer journey alignment.
• Strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and organizational skills.
