THUNDER | JOB DESCRIPTION

Executive Operations Analyst

Location: Remote, United States (Strongly prefer applicants in Pacific or Mountain Time Zones)

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Department: Executive Operations

About the Role:

Thunder is looking for a highly organized, resourceful, and strategic Executive Ops Analyst to support our CEO, Chief People Officer, and Head of Services. This role sits at the intersection of executive support, project management, and business operations—a high impact operator with exceptional attention to detail and execution.

You’ll drive visibility, clarity, and follow-through across key priorities while keeping our exec team focused on what matters most. If you thrive on variety, love organizing complex workstreams, and enjoy being a behind-the-scenes force multiplier, this role is for you.

Why This Role Matters:

You’ll be critical to scaling our internal operations and ensuring Thunder’s executive team can work efficiently, focus on strategic growth, and lead with clarity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own scheduling, coordination, and communications for (at minimum) three senior executives
  • Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating cadences (agendas, prep, follow-ups)
  • Drive internal projects across Talent, Services, and Strategic Ops, keeping teams aligned
  • Track cross-functional action items and help clear roadblocks before they slow things down
  • Craft clear, engaging internal comms (memos, decks, Slack updates, etc), on behalf of execs
  • Serve as a liaison between execs and key stakeholders—keeping everyone informed and in sync
  • Support prep for important agendas like Board meetings, investor updates, and company all-hands

What You Bring:

  • 2–5+ years of experience in executive support and business operations — or current top-tier MBA candidates with strong internship experience and a demonstrated ability to operate in fast-paced, high-impact environments.
  • Background in a consulting firm (Salesforce or AWS ecosystems), VC-backed startup, or experience in people/team operations roles (highly preferred)
  • Exceptional written communication and organizational skills
  • High discretion and emotional intelligence (i.e. trusted with confidential info)
  • Experience supporting or working directly with C-level executives, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities, tight timelines, and high-stakes, time-sensitive requests
  • A love for documentation, structure, and clear processes — paired with comfort thriving in a fast-paced, startup-style environment
  • Experience using tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Salesforce, and other collaboration tools
  • Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI-driven tools and automation to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and support smarter decision-making
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Salary Range: This role offers a competitive salary range for new hires of $65,000 - $85,000. This salary range is just one component of the total compensation package - which will also include variable/incentive pay (quarterly bonuses) and stock options - and will be commensurate with job-relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
