This is your first step in a long and successful career in software sales. We want to bring in hungry, humble, and diverse people with a desire to grow and learn. We will teach you how to use some of the best and most recognizable technology on the market to educate prospects and customers on the value that Conga can bring to their organization. The Business Development role at Conga prides itself on being the best in the industry and we will provide you with excellent leadership and the ability to progress in your career. In this role you will make phone calls and execute email and LinkedIn conversations with potential Conga customers.

The Business Development role is a springboard for your sales and marketing career. This role will open doors for you in many ways and expose you to the industry on how to handle initial sales. The BDR role is pivotal to Conga’s success.
Are you the person we’re looking for?
Education. If you have a degree/or work experience and are hungry and keen to grow your career in an entry-level sales role…let’s chat!
Strong attention to detail & time management. Though BDR experience is not required, we need candidates with strong organizational and follow-up skills on all key accounts and prospects. You will have a lot of autonomy as a BDR; what you put into being a BDR is what you will get out of it.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You’re not just comfortable engaging in collaborative discussions, but initiating them, too. You are skilled at reading and adapting to different communication styles. When you speak you are clear and concise. Your strong listening skills foster connections with our clients and allow you to accurately collect the right information so you can resolve issues in the most expedient way.
Motivated with sales instinct. You’ll drive market share by qualifying and delivering leads that build pipeline for our Sales Executive team in your defined market segment. Numbers-driven professionals that want to learn, grow, and develop their career.
Takes initiative. You don’t wait around for things to happen or for your manager to tell you what to do. You’re not only proactive about completing your own work, but when you sense the need to introduce an outreach sequence that will benefit the team or the organization -- even if it’s outside your scope of work -- you put a sequence together, talk to the team about it, and own it. And that also goes back to having an entrepreneurial spirit.
