Title:AWS DevOps Engineer
Term: Long term contract
Location: 100% remote
Availble for W2 or 1099, No C2C/3rd Parties Please.

We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with AWS services and related DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
Use Infrastructure as Code, with a preference for AWS CDK
Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker
Maintain and administer Linux-based systems
Write efficient Python scripts for automation and tooling (not application development)
Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in AWS DevOps roles
Strong expertise in Docker and Linux administration
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines; GitHub Actions preferred
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code; CDK preferred
Ability to write clear, functional Python scripts for infrastructure automation
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and security best practices
