Fraud Investigator

We’re seeking a seasoned fraud Investigator to help us support our claims advocates in their day-to-day work. You’ll utilise cutting-edge tools for fraud detection and investigation, while working with our Data Science team on creating processes and fraud deterrence tools.

In this role you'll

• Assist Claims Advocates in proper investigations as it pertains to suspicious indicators
• Serve as a liaison between Insurance Fraud Bureau & local and federal law enforcement agencies
• Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with Lemonade Integral Staff
• Assist in the reporting, analysis, and investigation of policies suspected of fraud related to claims and underwriting
• Attend and provide essential fraud awareness training
• Prepare and submit initial and follow-up reports detailing all findings and actions taken on suspicious claims

What you’ll need

• 2+ years of investigative claims experience, with excellent customer focus, preferably in Property Insurance
• Working knowledge of investigative techniques for High Value Theft, accidental damage, accidental loss, Fire, Water and Weather losses
• Ability to analyse data, plan case strategy, prepare case reports, and partner with Claims team members to prove or rule out suspect factors on property losses
• Tech savvy and comfortable with advanced investigative tools
• Experience with property dwelling estimating
• Able to create and implement investigative processes
