Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Senior Account Executive (North America) to join our fast-growing SaaS sales team. In this role, you will proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within your assigned territory. As a hunting AE, you will leverage your strong prospecting skills to build relationships with decision-makers, uncover their pain points, and demonstrate how our platform can solve their unique compliance challenges. Success will be measured by consistently generating qualified leads, closing high-value deals, and exceeding quota.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand prospective clients' unique requirements related to their governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) needs.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and exceed quotas.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, building and maintaining a robust pipeline.
  • Collaborate with sales support, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Work closely with your SDR pod to maintain good pipeline coverage and hit revenue and logo goals.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our SaaS solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to maximize profitability while addressing customer needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Use CRM software to maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management.
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.


Requirements
  • 4-6 years of sales experience in the SaaS industry, preferably as a hunting Account Executive or in a similar role.
  • Previous experience handling North America as a sales territory.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Proficient in HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in new hunting (Account Executive only).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B SaaS selling (Account Executive).
  • Minimum 3 years of hunting/new closer/new logo acquisition experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience handling North American geography (current or previous).
  • Must have experience with an annual sales target of $400k+.
  • Experience selling annual deal sizes ranging from $15k to $35k.
