Overview
In joining Dragonfly, you’ll be directly supporting our legal team to ensure our dealflow process is comprehensive and streamlined. You’ll interface directly with some of the brightest minds on the cutting edge of crypto and law, and have the opportunity to assist some of the most renowned crypto companies and token projects.
You should be comfortable with flexible and entrepreneurial work environments, and looking to rapidly accelerate your legal career.
We’re open to a summer term for the right candidate, but expect that this internship will take place in Fall 2025. Internships are paid and do not require course credit, although we’re glad to assist in securing it.
Functional Responsibilities
Provide general support to the legal team
Research legal and regulatory topics related to crypto and blockchain
Review existing agreements for compliance tracking purposes
Assist with revising/updating form agreements
Assist in reviewing, analyzing, drafting, and negotiating various contracts including financing documents and vendor agreements
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited law school
Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Dragonfly
Able to work remotely and provide your own computer
Innate curiosity and the desire to dig deeply into difficult, sometime ambiguous legal issues
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail, and a sense of confidence and discretion
Strong interpersonal, pattern recognition, and project management skills, with equally exceptional work ethic
Self-accountability and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment; and own, fix, and learn from failures
Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain
Note: Annual rate, if listed, is extrapolated from hourly rate to conform to their input formatting. Hourly rate for this role will be $18.75-$22.50 depending on experience, with an expectation of 20 hours worked per week.
