We work with industry-leading clients on projects that truly make an impact while supporting every team member in carving out their unique career path. With resources for learning, certifications, and hands-on experiences, Ness offers you more than just a job—it’s a place where your ideas, ambition, and well-being matter.

About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional engineering teams and deliver next-gen digital solutions. This role requires a strategic leader with strong technical roots, people-first mindset, and a passion for innovation, customer value, and engineering excellence. If you're excited by the challenge of building high-performing teams, driving business outcomes, and leading digital transformation—this opportunity is for you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple projects—stepping into code and reviews when needed.
  • Lead technical pre-sales efforts including preparing estimates, defining solution architecture, and supporting bids and proposals.
  • Direct end-to-end product development, ensuring alignment with delivery methodologies, quality, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and collaboration, embracing emerging technologies and practices.
  • Manage cross-functional teams across engineering, platform support, and product enhancements in the SAP Data space.
  • Champion people development—from hiring and onboarding to performance reviews, coaching, and career growth plans.
  • Ensure smooth execution of managed services, development, and platform admin support projects across global locations.
  • Oversee P&L responsibilities, project scoping, risk, financials, and stakeholder communication with clarity and accountability.
  • Drive excellence through metrics-based project management, team productivity, velocity, and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the organization in external forums, write thought leadership content, and track emerging tech trends.

What You Bring:
  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager leading large and complex digital initiatives.
  • Hands-on expertise in SAP Data Management technologies such as BO, BODS, MDG, SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Analytics, SAP Data Intelligence, and SAP Integration.
  • Prior experience managing 100+ team members, including cross-location and matrixed teams.
  • Strong capabilities in program, account, and client management across both fixed price and T&M engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing scope, risk, budget, and delivery timelines efficiently.
  • Deep knowledge of managing platform support/admin and development/enhancement tracks simultaneously.
  • Strong business acumen with prior exposure to business development and pre-sales considered a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder and customer relationship management skills, with a proactive, value-driven approach.
  • Passion for open-source technologies, performance optimization, and building low-latency systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the confidence to engage and influence at all levels.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with SAP BTP and emerging cloud solutions.
  • Thought leadership in innovation and value-add agendas.
  • Ability to operate independently and drive growth in ambiguous or high-pressure environments.
