Since 2008, our team of experienced HR, Finance, and Strategy consultants have brought essential strategic and tactical support to hundreds of clients across North America. 

The Position

Our Managed Recruitment (MR) team is searching for a casual Recruiter. In this role you’ll work remotely with your MR teammates to deliver embedded recruitment services to BSG’s clients. You'll write job postings, advertise jobs, review resumes, search for prospects, and interview candidates. You’ll work with great colleagues and a wide range of small/mid organizations and their leaders.

Casual means casual. Your hours will fluctuate depending on your schedule and our needs.

Although we're a third-party recruiting practice, we work like internal recruiters for our clients.

Some Key Qualifications

  • Recruitment experience would be nice, but it's not necessary. We'll show you everything you need to know.
  • You need to be able to write well, and operate MS Office applications with a degree of ease.
  • Initiative and the drive to learn and figure things out. You'll encounter jobs you don't know much or anything about. Ideally, you can dive in and learn enough about those things to sound credible.  
  • Working with the clients can be challenging. We'd love it if you had a good sense of interpersonal relations. Basically, how to read people and/or the room, and respond positively.
  • Working with your colleagues will be easy. Everybody's nice. We hire nice people. 
  • Attention to detail. Every job posting calls for it, but in this instance it’s not an afterthought. We really do need somebody who can operate with precision and accuracy.
  • We need you to have office hours availability. This job isn't a good fit for somebody in a full-time job trying to make some extra money in the evenings.
  • We're a remote organization so you're comfortable working from home. Reliable internet, a working laptop and the ability to make connections with others in a virtual environment is key.
