Head of Media (Matchnode)

Location: Remote | Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Co-Founder

We’re a performance-driven digital marketing agency scaling growth for clients in health, fintech, and beyond. In 2025 we made the transition to focus exclusively in the digital health space. We combine creative strategy with paid media execution across Meta, Google, and emerging platforms. Now, we’re hiring a Head of Media to lead the charge, run the media team, and push boundaries using the latest in AI and ad tech.

What You’ll Do

As Head of Media, you’ll own the strategy, execution, and optimization of all paid media campaigns across our portfolio. You’ll build a team of media buyers, work cross-functionally with creative and analytics, and be directly responsible for client performance.

You’ll also be key to helping our team transition our processes to become AI first..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the media department — managing a team of paid media specialists

  • Architect paid strategies across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), and additional platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Programmatic, etc.)

  • Serve as the strategic media lead on key client accounts

  • Analyze performance, identify insights, and guide continual testing

  • Integrate AI-driven tools into media buying, analysis, and reporting workflows

  • Partner with creative, analytics, and client services to produce full-funnel campaigns

  • Stay on top of platform updates, trends, and beta opportunities — especially AI advancements

  • Mentor and grow internal talent, while contributing to agency thought leadership

You’re a Fit If You:
  • Have 5–10 years of hands-on paid media experience, with deep expertise in Meta Ads and Google Ads

  • Have built and scaled ad accounts.  At minimum you have managed an ad account spending $100k monthly

  • Are equally strategic and tactical — you know when to delegate, but still enjoy getting your hands dirty

  • Are obsessed with performance — fluent in CAC, ROAS, attribution models, and other KPIs

  • Have a strong curiosity for AI and its role in modern media buying

  • Bonus: experience with tools like Google Tag Manager, GA4, Supermetrics, CAPI, and AI copilots (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
