Position:

Jonas Metals Software is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive to lead new & back to base business development and revenue growth across the EMEA region. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new & upgrade sales opportunities while also supporting the expansion of existing client relationships. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B software sales, preferably within industrial or metals sectors, and understands the complexities of selling enterprise software solutions across diverse markets.

You will be expected to own the entire sales process—from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing. A strong understanding of regional market dynamics, cultural nuances, and the ability to navigate long sales cycles is essential. This is a high-impact role with significant visibility, reporting directly to the CRO and contributing directly to the company’s international growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • New & back to base Business Development: Identify and engage prospective clients across the EMEA region. Build a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and networking within the metals and manufacturing industries

  • Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle—from discovery and needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, and close

  • Territory Management: Prioritize and strategically target countries and verticals within EMEA to maximize ROI

  • CRM Discipline: Maintain accurate and timely updates in the company’s CRM system (Zoho) for forecasting and pipeline reporting

  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing to tailor regional campaigns and attend industry events. Coordinate with solution consultants for product demonstrations and technical support

  • Account Expansion: Work alongside the CRO & Customer Care Team to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing customers

  • Market Intelligence: Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and software buying behavior in the metals sector across EMEA.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience of B2B sales, preferably selling ERP or enterprise software solutions

  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed quota in complex, consultative sales environments

  • Experience selling into the manufacturing or metals industry is highly preferred

  • Strong understanding of EMEA business cultures and commercial practices; multilingual capabilities are a plus

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Comfortable operating independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision

  • Proficient in using CRM platforms (Zoho preferred) and sales engagement tools (ZoomInfo & LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
