Job Responsibilities:
Data Governance Implementation
Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
Support the maintenance of data dictionaries, metadata repositories, classification, and data lineage documentation.
Contribute to the development of governance frameworks.
Compliance
Assist in the conduct of data audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to data governance standards.
Support Lead Data Steward, as well as legal and compliance teams to address data governance issues and support regulatory reporting.
Data Stewardship Support
Support collaboration with data stewards to ensure data governance policies are effectively implemented.
Assist in training and support to data stewards and business users on data governance practices.
Assist in resolving data-related issues and ensuring data governance processes are followed.
Reporting and Analysis
Prepare reports and dashboards on data governance activities and KPIs.
Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and non-compliance.
Support data governance initiatives by providing analytical and project management support.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or professional experience.
3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles preferably within the insurance industry.
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SQL, Phyton, etc.).
Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in data governance tools and technologies (e.g., data catalogs, data lineage tools).
Experience and understanding of conceptual data models and data ecosystem.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is highly desirable.
Certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) are a plus.

Base Salary Range:
$71,700.00 - $107,600.00
