Job Overview:

Tactacam is seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Revenue Operations to lead the systems, processes, and analytics that support our Sales team and broader revenue performance. This role will own sales forecasting, reporting, and technology tools, playing a crucial role in informing decision-making and driving alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Finance. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in demand planning, CRM systems, and business operations, along with the ability to design tools and workflows that are intuitive and accessible to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning & Forecasting: Lead the demand planning and sales forecasting process, leveraging internal and external data to support revenue projections and inventory planning.
  • Sales Tech Stack Ownership: Own and manage tools such as HubSpot (CRM) and ZoomInfo to enable effective lead generation, pipeline management, and sales execution.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Design and publish sales performance dashboards and tools; create ad hoc reports and financial bridges to support executive-level visibility and decision-making.
  • S&OP Participation: Play an active role in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning cross-functional teams on demand forecasts, supply planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales reps and cross-functional teams to capture insights and enhance process adoption across departments.
  • Operational Communication: Keep the Sales team informed of key process updates, performance metrics, and system changes.
  • Data Utilization: Leverage customer sell-through data and syndicated market data to drive accurate, data-informed forecasting and sales strategies.
  • Sales Compensation: Support the execution and analysis of Sales compensation plans, ensuring alignment with performance goals.
  • Territory Management: Provide insights and support for territory planning and optimization.
  • Team Leadership: Manage one direct report with the potential for future team expansion.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in demand planning and forecasting for consumer products, ideally in both retail and eCommerce channels.
    • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and ERP platforms (NetSuite preferred).
    • Familiarity with lead generation tools such as ZoomInfo.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
    • Strong ability to build intuitive spreadsheet-based tools for non-technical team members to input and analyze forecasts.
  • Business Acumen:
    • Proven ability to think strategically and build scalable operational processes that drive performance and adoption.
    • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and influencing without authority.
