Director of Revenue Operations

Position Description

We're seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Revenue Operations to lead our revenue optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will oversee the alignment and efficiency of our sales, marketing, and client success operations to optimize revenue generation, enhance operational efficiencies, and drive sustainable growth. This role requires a unique blend of analytical prowess, operational expertise, and leadership skills to streamline processes, implement scalable solutions, and foster collaboration across departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities for the Director of Revenue Operations can vary, but should include:

  • Process Optimization
    • Evaluate and enhance existing revenue operations processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing scalable solutions.
    • Implement and optimize sales automation tools, CRM systems, and other technologies to drive operational efficiency.
  • Data Analytics and Insights
    • Analyze sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential bottlenecks.
    • Provide actionable insights to improve revenue generation, pricing strategies, and customer retention efforts.
  • Performance Monitoring and Training
    • Establish performance metrics and monitor the effectiveness of revenue-generating activities. Report out performance metrics to senior management and executive leaders.
    • Develop onboarding and training programs and provide coaching to sales, marketing, and customer success teams to improve their efficiency and effectiveness. Create and maintain sales playbooks.
  • Cross-functional collaboration
    • Foster alignment and collaboration between sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a unified revenue approach.
    • Act as a bridge between departments, streamlining communication, and optimizing workflows to maximize revenue generation.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or related field
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • SFDC experience
  • BA/BS degree
  • Advanced degree of relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma) is advantageous.
