Sr. Project Manager, Linguistic Validation & eCOA (Japanese/English)

Please Note: This remote position is a part-time opening, scheduled for 32 hours per week. To be eligible for this position, you must reside in the same country where the job is located.

Job Overview

IQVIA is currently looking to expand our Translations Services team in the United States due to continued growth and demand for our Linguistic Validation & eCOA services. We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in a part-time capacity to support our translation services offerings across the life sciences industry.

This position will primarily support projects requiring Japanese translations, but will support other project areas as well. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for directly overseeing the operational aspects of Linguistic Validation & eCOA projects and programs. Additionally, our Sr. Project Managers ensure that all project work is completed in accordance with established SOPs, policies, and practices.
 

Essential Functions
  • Create, track and report on project timelines.
  • Produce and distribute status, tracking and financial reports for internal and external team members and senior management.
  • Responsibility for financial reporting on the project including tracking deliverables and invoicing.
  • May participate in proposal development and sales/proposal presentations.
  • Monitor and coordinate efforts of cross-functional project teams and project resources within and outside the organization.
  • Meet with team members on a regular basis regarding project tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Lead problem solving and resolution efforts.
  • Manage project budgets and approval of invoices.
  • Produce and distribute reports and presentation materials.
  • Provide input into project proposals and RFPs.
  • Train and mentor junior Project Manager staff.
  • Partner with other Project Managers to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings.
  • Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with standard processes, policies and procedures and meets project timeline metrics.
     
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in both LV and eCOA required.
  • Japanese language proficiency is required for this position.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to support client relationships, delivering results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics.
  • Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
  • Ability to work under limited direction.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $92,000.00 - $153,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
