Position Requirements

The Manager – Enterprise Applications is responsible for the leadership, strategic management, and technical oversight of enterprise platforms, with a primary focus on the ServiceNow platform. This role includes managing a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators, ensuring the platform is effectively leveraged to support organizational needs, streamline operations, and align with IT and business goals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ServiceNow developers and system administrators. Oversee the architecture, roadmap, and performance of the ServiceNow platform,  including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, HAM/SAM, and custom applications.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for ServiceNow, driving platform adoption, innovation, and best practices.
  • Coordinate platform upgrades, module implementations, integrations, and ongoing maintenance efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise IT standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage external vendors and ServiceNow partners, ensuring optimal delivery of services and support.
  • Analyze business needs and collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Ensure consistent application of secure design and integration patterns across the enterprise platform ecosystem.
  • Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshooting expertise for ServiceNow and related enterprise applications.
  • Report on ServiceNow platform health, performance, capacity, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning for future enterprise application initiatives and cross-platform integrations.

Experience/Skill Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture and support, including 5+ years managing technical teams.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, and HAM/SAM modules.
  • Demonstrated success managing platform upgrades, customizations, and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Proven experience implementing development best practices, governance, and agile workflows within ServiceNow.
  • Solid background in enterprise application integration, performance tuning, and security best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments (preferred).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion in a complex environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certification required; additional certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, CIS-HR, CIS-Discovery) preferred.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI-ACP) is desirable.
