SAP GTS S4/HANA Consultant

What are we looking for?

The role: We are looking for a highly skilled SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) Consultant to join our team and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP GTS solutions across our global operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our trade processes comply with international regulations and run efficiently across multiple regions.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in SAP GTS implementations and support, as well as strong functional knowledge of global trade and customs processes. This role includes periodic travel to the United States for business alignment meetings with key stakeholders and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support SAP GTS functionalities including:
• Compliance Management (SPL screening, embargo checks)
• Customs Management (import/export declarations)
• Risk Management and Preference Processing
• Analyze global trade business requirements and translate them into SAP GTS system configurations
• Integrate SAP GTS with SAP ERP systems (ECC and/or S/4HANA)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to ensure proper business alignment
• Support testing, documentation, end-user training, and post-go-live support
• Monitor and optimize trade processes to ensure legal compliance and efficiency
• Participate in periodic travel to the U.S. to align with business leaders, gather requirements, and support project milestones
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP GTS
• Strong understanding of global trade regulations and customs requirements
• Proven experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP ECC or S/4HANA
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience in multi-country or global project environments
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally, specifically to the U.S., for business alignment
