Job description

We’re seeking a technically minded Supplier Business Development Manager to assist with shaping customer sales strategies across the Nordic region in line with business goals. This remote, flexible role involves working with suppliers and customers in the electronics industry, leveraging your product knowledge to deliver tailored solutions.

Ideal candidates will have business development experience and a solid understanding of semiconductors—or the technical aptitude to learn about products like microcontrollers, power management ICs, and wireless connectivity.

You'll join up with sales and technical teams, promote customer demos, provide product training, and contribute to after-sales support. A key focus will be driving sales growth, increasing brand awareness, and working with suppliers and marketing to run seminars and exhibitions.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for brand products, technology solutions, and offerings, providing customer guidance and help.
  • Work on the execution of strategic growth plans and strengthen business relationships within assigned accounts.
  • Proactively identifies and cultivates opportunities by coordinating seminars, training, and awareness initiatives that support growth in targeted accounts.
  • Analyses program performance and provide insights on successes, challenges, and future strategies with the account management team.
  • Stays informed about industry trends, product developments, emerging technologies, and customer needs within the assigned supplier product area.
  • Builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with field suppliers.
  • Supports additional duties and team initiatives as needed.

Our successful candidate will:

  • Bring relevant industry experience with a strong appreciation of business operations, financial considerations, products/services, market dynamics, and the unique needs of assigned accounts.
  • Keep up to date with emerging market trends and broader industry factors that influence customer needs, using this insight to build and deepen customer relationships. May be recognised as a specialist in a particular area.
  • Navigate high-complexity environments involving varied territories, accounts, and solutions. Applies advanced sales expertise across a defined portfolio of products and services.
  • Work independently and may lead collaborative teams to identify, pursue, or manage opportunities within large or strategically important accounts. Provides guidance to less experienced colleagues and contributes to shared learning.
  • Have the autonomy to plan their own approach to accounts or territories and may negotiate terms that align with both customer needs and company goals.
  • Work closely with team members and leaders, engaging directly with clients and decision-makers. Contributes to collective success in team-based sales efforts for key accounts.
  • Lead negotiations for mid-sized, complex opportunities, balancing strategic planning with customer engagement to grow both new and existing relationships. Operates within broad company guidelines while shaping customer-focused solutions.
