Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 5 hours each day, flexible during client's business hours | California (Pacific Standard Time)

Paid hours per week: 15 hours

Job Description

Take ownership of the complete financial operations for a sophisticated real estate and vehicle rental enterprise. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with both traditional property management accounting and innovative transportation rental systems. You’ll be instrumental in streamlining financial processes, implementing best practices, and providing crucial insights that drive business decisions. Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive bookkeeping operations for 40+ properties and vehicle rental fleet
  • Execute accounts payable and receivable processes with precision and timeliness
  • Implement and maintain robust rent tracking systems
  • Coordinate with tenants regarding payment schedules and follow-ups
  • Prepare detailed financial statements and property-specific performance analyses
  • Process and reconcile maintenance invoices and operational expenses
  • Generate monthly financial reports and profitability analyses
  • Support year-end tax preparation and compliance requirements
  • Optimize QuickBooks processes and maintain accurate digital records
  • Collaborate with management to improve financial workflows and reporting systems


Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with US-based companies
  • Strong knowledge of US accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Proven expertise in QuickBooks and advanced Excel/Google Sheets capabilities
  • Experience in real estate or property management accounting strongly preferred
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting
  • Professional certification in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
