Director, Professional Marketing Tepezza
What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will report to the Executive Director Marketing and partner closely with cross-functional partners to lead, plan, and implement the marketing strategy and all patient-focused touchpoints critical to the commercial success for our Tepezza brand.

  • Lead implementation of the brand strategy for the endocrinology business across professional marketing (inclusive of personal promotion and medical marketing) through development of highly effective promotional and educational materials
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to continue to ensure consistency and grow product adoption and drive the confidence of endocrinologist to diagnose and treat Thyroid Eye Disease (TED)
  • Contribute to the development of the annual brand plan and effectively execute all brand strategies to consistently meet or exceed the brand's business goals
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the disease state, competitive landscape and therapeutic management (inclusive of infusion center dynamics) within TED
  • Collaborate with Market Research to develop and implement the market research plan
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitive activity and market dynamics that can affect the product’s development and leverage insights to inform segmentation, channel mix preferences, and targeting of customer segments
  • Effectively and consistently execute multiple, simultaneous projects and manage resources to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and answer business objectives
  • Manage and enhance external relationships with thought leaders, promotional speakers and strategic business partners
  • Oversee and direct the work of the endocrinology marketing team – a team that drives the personal promotional and peer-to-peer activities for the endocrine sales force, speaker bureau and congress activity
  • Effectively lead and coach a team of marketers and supporting their growth and development
  • Manage external partners (ad agency, meeting planners, market researchers & consultants) to ensure integration and consistency of strategies, message and tactics

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 4 years of marketing experience

Or

Master’s degree and 7 years of marketing experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of marketing experience  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing/sales preferably in the healthcare pharmaceutical industry
  • Endocrinology and/or Biologic specialty product marketing or sales experience, preferred
  • Experience working with multiple projects and managing multiple external vendors
  • Must have strong planning, project management, communication, and organization skills
  • Ability to seize feedback and provide clear direction is essential
  • Flexibility to work in a fluid, fast-paced, high pressure environment with multiple demands with initiative and independence required
  • Ability to develop and execute on the principles of brand management, including brand positioning, messaging & overall campaign
  • Work well with others
  • Requires approximately 25% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Professional, proactive demeanor
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
