Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a warm, detail-oriented Virtual Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients. In this role, you'll be responsible for handling phone communications, scheduling appointments, sending reminders, verifying insurance (if experienced), and ensuring patients are connected to their virtual sessions. You'll play a key role in delivering timely, compassionate service that keeps operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and return incoming patient calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments according to established procedures.
  • Send appointment confirmations and reminders.
  • Assist patients with connecting to virtual sessions.
  • Verify patient insurance details (if trained/experienced).
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions.


Qualifications:

  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Prior experience in administrative or receptionist roles (preferably remote).
  • Comfortable using scheduling tools, calendars, and VOIP/phone software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Dependable internet connection and quiet work environment.

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with U.S. health insurance systems and verification processes.
  • Background in patient-facing roles.
