The HRIS Leader is responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, and ongoing management of the company's HRIS, ensuring it supports HR operations, data accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations. This role also involves leading and developing the HRIS team, collaborating with HR and IT stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for HRIS improvement and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement the HRIS strategy aligned with the company's HR goals and business needs.
Identify and evaluate HRIS solutions, vendors, and technologies to meet the organization's evolving needs.
Lead the implementation and integration of new HRIS modules and functionalities.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the HRIS, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
HRIS Management and Administration: Manage the day-to-day operations of the HRIS, ensuring its smooth and efficient functioning.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee data within the HRIS.
Develop and maintain HRIS policies, procedures, and workflows.
Provide technical support and training to HR staff and end-users on HRIS functionalities.
Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and HRIS security protocols.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the HRIS team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Set performance goals and objectives for team members, providing regular feedback and coaching.
Manage team workload and resources to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects and tasks.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Extract and analyze HRIS data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Develop and generate reports and dashboards to track key HR metrics and performance indicators.
Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations.
Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and issues.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of HRIS with other systems.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HRIS and related technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in HRIS management, implementation, and administration.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred: SAP / SAP Success Factors experience

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $66,000 - $225,000, which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.
