The following position is to join RTX:

As the Military, Veteran, and Disabilities Program Coordinator you will be an integral part of our team, working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with the Military Veterans and Disabilities Program Team, Human Resources, and senior leadership to support the execution of key programs and events. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our military veteran and disabilities talent acquisition strategies, ensuring they align with industry best practices and organizational goals. 

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a key coordinator for the Military, Veterans, and Disabilities Talent Acquisition Team, aligning recruitment strategies with organizational hiring needs. 
  • Assist in the coordination and logistics for meetings, conferences, trade shows, hiring events, and other program-related activities. 
  • Support both domestic and international travel arrangements, ensuring smooth accommodations and itineraries. 
  • Manage travel reimbursements in compliance with internal policies and processes. 
  • Maintain accurate data records, trackers, and reports for program activities. 
  • Oversee and manage multiple calendars, ensuring seamless scheduling across various platforms, including Outlook. 
  • Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements to drive organizational efficiency, including the creation of training documents and process guides. 
  • Perform additional administrative duties and support projects as needed to drive program success. 

Qualifications You Must Have

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree(or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.​
  • Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role, ideally within HR, Talent Acquisition, payroll, benefits, or a similar field requiring interaction with various organizational levels. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email systems, electronic collaboration tools, and video conferencing platforms. 
  • Experience in developing and implementing process improvements, creating training documents, and optimizing workflows to improve efficiency. 
  • Organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 

Qualifications We Prefer

  • An Associate’s Degree or 2 years of post-secondary training with 6 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of relevant experience. 
  • Prior experience as a Human Resources specialist/administrator, or in a similar administrative capacity within talent acquisition or HR. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, especially in high-volume environments. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday and Interview Stream is a plus. 
  • A high level of discretion when handling confidential information and a strong sense of trustworthiness. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities effectively. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate with teams and individuals across a large, matrixed organization.

The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 70,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
