Overview
The Employer Relations Advisor (ERA) is responsible for identifying, creating, and maintaining employer relationships to aid in their talent acquisition needs as well as providing program related roles for our students and alumni. As an integral member of the Career Services team, the ERA has a strong understanding of our student and alumni career needs and lasered focus on the outcomes of job opportunities and employer relationships. The ERA is responsible for creating engagement opportunities for employers to be more visible to all students and employers including employer information sessions, targeted emails / flyers, and internal communications to their Career Advisor partners.

Responsibilities
Relationship Development: Conducts consistent research and outreach to develop new employer relationships using a variety of methods (DVU Alumni network, LinkedIn, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, etc.). Hosts virtual discovery meetings to present Career Services resources to talent acquisition professionals and offer creative branding opportunities to connect talent to their organization. Leads employer activities and events that provide students and alumni employment opportunities. Identifies upcoming graduate needs and builds external relationships with employers to create a forward-thinking strategy for talent acquisition gaps.
Event Management: Execute a variety of virtual career fairs, employer information sessions, virtual interviews, etc. to connect students and alumni to employers. Works independently or as a small team to support all logistics of an event including set-up, day-of efforts, and tracking important metrics post-event.
Collaboration: Partners with Career Advisors to understand the needs of our students and alumni as well as track outcomes of applications submitted. Meet with other B2B colleagues to ensure cross functional efforts with all employer partners. Effectively communicate calendar of events, employer openings, and success stories.
Job Lead Distribution: Ensure a large volume of high quality, program related opportunities are available to all students and alumni. Opportunities include internships, apprenticeships, part-time, and full-time, which include on-site, remote, and hybrid opportunities. Employer partners and their opportunities are vetted for quality and hiring potential.
Federal Work Study (FWS) Student Worker: Effectively manage 1 FWS student worker which includes interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, daily assignments / tracking, and off-boarding. ERA ensures the FWS student worker is completing all tasks and abiding by FWS regulations.
Project Creation / Management: Career Services Leadership assigns special projects and can include managing events or piloting specific department initiatives.
