A Brief Overview

The US LBM Master Data Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining the master data management (MDM) system, including data integration, data modeling and data migration. Continuously optimizes team's ability to inbound, match, enrich and syndicate data to support strategic initiatives. This person will work with key stakeholders across functional areas align data from multiple ERPs to meet business goals and create high-quality, consistent customer experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Developer will optimize team’s ability to map, match, enrich and communicate mastered data to various users and software across the enterprise.
  • Primarily responsible for data migration and normalization, including inbound integrations from various ERPs, suppliers, or aggregated data sources.
  • Developer will create standard Detailed Designs, Unit Test Cases, Test Data, Deployment Guides, etc. in accordance with the organization’s process set – when needed to support system upgrades or new MDM functionality.
  • Facilitate MDM data governance by identifying opportunities to standardize and normalize data through analysis and communicating that to domain owners.
  • Leverage AI, ML and other tools to optimize various MDM processes including data ingestion/acquisition, standardization/enrichment, harmonization. Developer will use critical thinking to overcome data quality issues to expedite data mapping and matching and validation.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • Five years of advanced MDM programming techniques and application support/design required.
  • Experience in systems design with a solid understanding of development, database development, testing, and integration methodologies.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Python, PERL, SQL, MQ and Snowflake. MDM tool is hosted, including system monitoring.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working with normalized data.
  • Project management experience preferred.

Skills And Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve, complete assignments with minimal oversight and communicate well. Detail orientated and accountability is required.
