Key responsabilities:

  • Maintain the Master Test Plan and support Agile team members in testing activities.
  • Organize test activities and ensure quality assurance on delivered solutions.
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies and drive continuous improvement of delivery.
  • Facilitate workshops with business users to define test scenarios and prioritize testing efforts.

Job description

At DLL the Corporate Solutions Risk – Future Model Landscape team is assigned to build and maintain the platform to allow modeling for DLL. This platform covers the collection of data, developing the models, and executing the models.

Being part of an Epic (scrum) team, you will be the quality assurance specialist within the team safeguarding, the agreed acceptance criteria for solutions are documented and delivered accordingly. All according processes and the approach as outlined in the Master Test Plan.

As Test Coordinator, you will also be involved in coordinating the work of several test specialists in concert with work performed in the platform teams.

Day To Day

  • Maintain the Master Test Plan
  • Support Agile team members and Product Owner in testing activities
  • Organize test activities and maintain the Test environments as outlined in the Master Test Plan
  • Recognize items/places where test automation can be used
  • Perform Quality Assurance on delivered solutions and be the Quality gate to bring solutions to Production
  • Be part of Epic-teams to define and perform QA-activities with the team
  • Drive continuous improvement of delivery
  • As a team player help where needed to get the job done
  • Participate in all scrum ceremonies, such as demo, retro and planning sessions
  • Be involved in (integration) test, check whether built solution fulfills acceptance criteria from a technical perspective at least but also functional supporting the PO and stakeholders in testing and accepting the applied changes.
  • Review Acceptance Criteria on how testable they are.
  • Embedding IT requirements, security, compliance and non-functional requirements – and considering architecture landscape and target state

Essentials

  • Msc Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Functional knowledge/understanding of data & models
  • Experience with testing Databricks/Python/Modeling methodologies
  • Certified in TOSCA. TOSCA is the main testing tool used by DLL.
  • Certified Azure Fundamentals
  • Azure add-ons for testing, like Tosca or ALM Test Management or Custom Pipelines for automated testing
  • 3+ years development/testing experience with Data Modelling, ETL in Azure, and or Modelling Platforms.
  • Certified Software Test Engineer at TMAP or ISTQB Foundational level at least or equivalent.
  • Has experience in talking to business users to gather data requirements, understand their issues. Can ask 5 times why to find the real problem to solve.
  • Can switch from details to the bigger picture and back.
  • Can facilitate workshops with business to define test scenarios. Requires an understanding of business process, requirements, and impact on current way of working.
  • Can help set testing priorities or challenge priorities.
  • Has a can-do mentality.
  • Speaks/writes English fluently.
