Reporting to the Product Manager, as a Product Owner here at Zanda you’ll drive a critical company-level growth, product vision, strategy, and data driven roadmap that delivers! Your familiarity with the environments and needs of your customers make identifying market and customer requirements almost second nature. Your Impact in the Role
As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in maximising the value of our product. You’ll be the key liaison between our customers, Product Manager, and agile development teams, ensuring that customer needs are at the heart of our decisions. This role is pivotal in turning strategic goals into a clear, prioritised product backlog and driving successful delivery.
You're Excited to
Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs guide product decisions.
Translate product strategy into actionable backlog items for agile teams.
Collaborate with Customer Support and Engineering to prioritize and resolve issues.
Refine backlog stories, clarify requirements, and support technical design discussions.
Conduct acceptance testing and ensure alignment in Scrum/Kanban meetings.
Maintain a clear, prioritized, and actionable backlog that reflect the product strategy and customer needs.
Translate high level business goals and market needs into actionable plans for Engineers and Designers.
Deliver value through MVPs, prototypes, and iterative enhancements.
Foster cross-functional collaboration across Design, Engineering and Marketing.
Own product lifecycle from discovery through post-launch iterations.
What You Bring to the Team
4+ years of product ownership experience (Bonus points if it’s in an agile development environment, SaaS experience preferred).
A technical background especially in SaaS companies that are rapidly scaling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to advocate for customers and communicate their needs to technical teams.
Experience collaborating with remote, multicultural, and multi-time zone teams ( (+4 to +6 UTC time zone preferred).
Deep understanding of product intricacies, & proficiency in bridging business requirements with technical designs to deliver impactful product improvements.
Proven project management skills and demonstrated success defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Proactive, empathetic, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
