Job Description

  • Market and Customer Analysis: Conduct ICP research & market analysis to inform product roadmap and GTM strategy to launch in different geographies like India, SEA, LATAM, US & more
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop plans for product launches and promotions. Define target markets and work with sales and product teams for strategy alignment
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Create clear product messages that stand out. Tailor messaging to resonate with different segments of the target audience. Build in product tours and guides for different ICPs by understanding their pain points and how Wati helps alleviate them. Keep messaging consistent across marketing channels
  • Demand Generation: Plan campaigns to boost product awareness and attract customers. Work with the growth team to increase free sign ups and use data to improve campaign results
  • Content Development: Make marketing materials like competitor pages, whitepapers, videos and presentations. Manage content for online campaigns like social media and email. Simplify technical ideas for marketing
  • Onboarding & activation: Identify opportunities to improve the onboarding process and increase product activation
  • Results: Regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) related to monetization, conversion rates and upgrade rates for launched campaigns to understand if success criteria was met


The Successful Applicant

  • Requirement
  • At least 5+ years experience in B2B SaaS product marketing.
  • Must have PLG experience or in a PLG set up
  • Background in copywriting / content marketing is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive decision-making
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Passion for technology and staying up-to-date with industry trends
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
  • Experience working in startups
