How do I know if this job is a good fit for me?

  • You wish to work in an environment where colleagues are professional, good at what they do, funny, supportive, and focused on product development instead of playing mind games.
  • You are independent, self-directed, and value works allow you to be creative.
  • You want to keep your industry's knowledge ahead of the market.
  • You breathe digital and yearn for an environment of like-minded people

Congratulations! You just found the right place.

What is In Marketing We Trust all about?

We're a technical performance marketing agency, and we exist to solve tough problems in marketing. We bring an engineering mindset to complex marketing situations to deliver a scalable performance that generates an exponential return on investment.

  • Always deliver in the best interest of our clients
  • Invest in the success of every team member

Delivering these foundational codes will fund our continued growth while providing a fair return for shareholders.

What is the internal culture like?

Let's hear from our employees on why they chose to join and stay:

  • A nice, dedicated, supportive (and funny) team with years of experience, therefore, really good at what they're doing.
  • Flexibility in working hours, working location, no micromanaging, and you can take full ownership of your work.
  • No politics, no bullsh!t.
  • Very good processes, clear expectations.

About The Role

🧭 Today:

You’ll focus primarily (90%) on overseeing a key enterprise client in the online travel industry where SEO plays a mission-critical role. Expect close collaboration with top-tier acquisition teams and high-performance SEO counterparts from across the globe.

🚀 Tomorrow

As we grow our presence in the EMEA region (10%), you’ll also help shape and manage relationships with new clients looking to scale their business into the AustralAsian market—without the headache or headspace. This is our core differentiator, and your strategic input will directly support international expansion efforts.

This is a consulting-style, delivery-led role—you’ll design and lead solutions that you know work, not oversell pipe dreams. You’ll scope what’s realistic, manage expectations, and get results.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Project Management

  • Act as 2IC to the Head of SEO, providing leadership on major SEO projects and client accounts.
  • Own the delivery for a Tier 1 enterprise client in online travel, managing complex strategies across multiple stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with flex-time Content Editors in the EU region to maintain SEO and content quality.
  • Lead and coordinate a team of 20 freelancers and suppliers, including 5 direct client-facing collaborators, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration and alignment across all teams.
  • Conduct client meetings, both virtual and in-person (travel costs covered).
  • Provide SEO insights and recommendations to clients, ensuring they understand the value and impact of our work.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth within the client’s account and the region.

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies tailored to each client’s objectives.
  • Cover the full SEO scope: technical SEO, content strategy, authority building, on-page optimisation, and AI-powered search innovations.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of execution across technical audits, content planning, and automation integration.
  • Craft realistic scopes based on your expertise—no overpromising, no fluff.
  • Contribute to client onboarding, proposals, and pitches when required.
  • Support new business opportunities in the EMEA region with strategic input.

Technical SEO & Content Oversight

  • Conduct website audits to identify issues affecting organic search performance.
  • Recommend and oversee improvements in website architecture, internal linking, page speed, structured data, and crawl efficiency.
  • Work with Content Editors to optimise content for SEO, ensuring alignment with E-E-A-T principles and user intent.
  • Provide guidance on metadata, headings, internal linking structures, and AI-driven content strategies

Market & Team Expansion

  • Help grow our reputation and presence in the EMEA region, working with international brands wanting to scale into AustralAsia.
  • Bring your knowledge of regional market nuances to the table—prior experience in EMEA and AustralAsian markets is a plus.

Who You Are

  • An experienced SEO professional with at least 6 years in SEO and 2 years of recent agency experience, with a proven track record of delivering results across various industries.
  • Strong experience in handling large websites (with more than 1,00,000,000 pages)
  • Proven experience overseeing six-figure monthly client budgets, ensuring strategic allocation and financial accountability
  • Proactively identifies, develops, and pitches new sales opportunities within the region to drive business growth and market expansion.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Using OpenAI or similar platforms to work smarter, not harder.
  • Comfortable working with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, OpenAI, Gemini and AI-driven SEO platforms.
  • Proactive, innovative, and eager to stay ahead of evolving SEO trends, including AI-powered search and emerging search platforms.
