Medlogix is seeking an experienced, organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The position will need the capacity to meet our complex, diverse, dynamic and fast paced environment.  The primary objectives of this position are to ensure all client and departmental deadlines are met, accounting records are accurate, and that departmental and firm policies are being followed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated professional to join our team. This role will support various service billing and reporting functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, resolving discrepancies, and contributing to financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be comfortable working under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-train in multiple service billing and reporting processes.
  • Ensure timely processing of billing tasks to meet month-end deadlines.
  • Verify accuracy of invoicing and reimbursement for billed services.
  • Reconcile and resolve customer past-due accounts, collaborating with Client Service Representatives.
  • Prepare financial and operational reports for customers and internal management.
  • Manage customer inquiries and invoice disputes with a professional and solution-oriented approach.
  • Assist in identifying and correcting invoicing errors.
  • Support month-end close processes, including generating reports and assisting with commission calculations.

Skills and Abilities

  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable handling confidential financial data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in billing, accounting, or financial operations.
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and general accounting principles.
  • Prior experience working in a corporate finance or billing team is strongly preferred.
