Job description

This is a remote position.

Superlanet is seeking an Epic HIM Analyst to support our healthcare client in Texas. This is a direct hire, primarily remote position, with occasional onsite travel required. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting health information management workflows and configuring Epic HIM modules to optimize release of information, chart correction, deficiency tracking, and coding processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, build, test, and maintain Epic HIM applications including Identity, Release of Information (ROI), Deficiency Tracking, and Coding & Abstracting.

  • Partner with HIM leadership, clinical departments, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver compliant, efficient solutions.

  • Support and optimize workflows related to chart corrections, duplicate record management, and documentation integrity.

  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions in a timely manner.

  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and go-lives to ensure seamless transitions and operational readiness.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and training materials for end-users.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements (HIPAA, Joint Commission, CMS) in all HIM solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Active Epic Certification or Accreditation (or eligibility) in HIM modules such as Identity, ROI, or Deficiency Tracking is required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
    In lieu of a degree, four (4) years of equivalent professional experience in a HIM or clinical systems role will be considered.

  • At least 4- 5 years of experience supporting Epic HIM applications in a healthcare setting.

  • Strong understanding of HIM workflows, medical record management, and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Proven track record in implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Epic HIM systems in a complex health system environment.

$85k - 110k +
