Role Name: CAD Technical Documentation Specialist

Schedule:

  • Full-time (8 AM to 4 PM with 30 minute lunch break that is unpaid, Monday to Friday)

Job Description

As a CAD Technical Documentation Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in streamlining the technical documentation process for a cutting-edge manufacturing operation. Responsibilities
  • Transform technical specifications between multiple formats (STEP files, DMX files, Solidworks, PDFs) ensuring manufacturing readiness
  • Create precise manufacturing documentation from various source materials
  • Develop comprehensive parts lists and assembly documentation
  • Organize and optimize technical documentation workflows
  • Support the development team with technical file processing and organization
  • Manage and maintain documentation accuracy across multiple projects
  • Collaborate with UK-based technical team to ensure seamless workflow integration
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives for documentation efficiency


Requirements
  • Proven experience with Solidworks and technical drawing conversion
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing documentation processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Professional English communication skills
  • Experience with Amada software is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Comfortable with flexible scheduling and international collaboration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive work approach
  • Commitment to maintaining high documentation standards
