What You’ll Do
Own the SEO Onboarding Process – Lead new client onboarding, ensuring SEO foundations are properly set up before and after website launches, fundamentally optimized, and aligned with client business goals.
Conduct SEO Audits & Strategy Implementation – Perform in-depth technical SEO audits, keyword research, competitive analysis, redirect mapping, content strategy, and website optimization for new clients.
Ensure a Smooth & Effective Launch Experience – Develop and execute SEO implementation plans that set clients up for success from day one. This role requires strong attention to detail and experience in site migrations.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams – Work closely with account managers, developers, project managers, content strategists, and paid media teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and launch experience. Assist with updating and improving processes throughout the onboarding process.
Educate & Guide Clients on SEO Best Practices – Act as a trusted advisor, explaining SEO recommendations in a clear, client-friendly way.
Track & Optimize Initial Performance – Monitor early SEO performance indicators, troubleshoot issues, and make data-driven adjustments to ensure strong initial results.
Stay Ahead of SEO Trends & Algorithm Changes – Continuously refine onboarding processes by keeping up with the latest SEO strategies, Google algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Enhance & Optimize Internal SEO Workflows – Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness in SEO onboarding and launch processes.
Strong experience taking over optimization and strategy of existing client websites building off what they have.
What You Bring
SEO Expertise – 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, keyword research, and analytics. Agency experience is a plus.
Strong Technical SEO Knowledge – Proficiency in website audits, schema markup, site structure, redirects, page speed optimization, crawlability, and indexation.
Experience with SEO Tools & Platforms – Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and other industry-standard SEO tools.
Client-Facing Communication Skills – Ability to translate complex SEO concepts into clear, actionable insights for clients.
Strong internal communication and collaboration bring thought leadership to the broader Onboarding and Product teams.
Project & Time Management Skills – Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving Mindset – Proactive in identifying and resolving technical SEO challenges to ensure a smooth client experience.
Data-Driven Decision Making – Comfortable analyzing SEO performance data and making strategic recommendations based on insights.
Adaptability & Growth Mindset – Eager to learn, stay up-to-date with SEO trends, and continuously improve processes.

Compensation:
EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000K USD Per Year. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
