Job description

Position Summary:

Regal Rexnord is seeking a dynamic and strategic business leader to lead our Conveyance Solutions North American (NA) sales and marketing organization. This role will also be pivotal in delivering a differentiated customer experience across the global food industry, leveraging our comprehensive portfolio of products. This leader will be responsible for rapidly expanding the sales of Conveyance products and services in strategic secular markets across North America and the global food industry.

Key responsibilities include direct oversight of the NA sales team, product marketing, commercial operations, applications engineering and premium services, while partnering closely with finance, product development and operations teams to deliver the Divisions core value drivers. The successful candidate will know how to translate strategy into execution and be able to collaborate effectively across a diverse set of stakeholders including executives, individual contributors, customers, employees, and partners.

  

As a critical business partner to the Sr. VP/GM, this position will own the virtual P&L for the division’s NA Components business, along with the development and execution of the strategic sales initiatives that will drive the short-term and long-term success of the enterprise.  This is an incredible opportunity to join the Conveyance Solutions Division leadership team at a very exciting moment in its journey towards achieving its full potential. Major Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive short (annual operating plan) and long-term (strategic plan) sales and marketing strategies to achieve company goals and growth objectives within the food industry vertical.
  • Revenue Management: Drive sales of more than $200M in revenue through effective sales initiatives, sales funnel management and market penetration strategies.
  • Industry Marketing: Oversee industry-specific marketing efforts, including promotional events, product launches, and advertising campaigns in partnership with critical internal stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Provide GM-minded leadership, fostering a culture of growth, excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • P&L Ownership: Own the virtual P&L, ensuring financial accountability and performance across the Region through strong partnership with operations, product management and other functional leaders.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team, promoting a positive work environment to support talent attraction, retention and performance management.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including critical executive level leaders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other division leaders and partner divisions/segments, including engineering, product management, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop, monitor and analyze sales performance metrics/KPIs, while driving 80/20 principles and problem solving methodologies (80/20 principles and root cause countermeasures) to implement corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing or business related field; Ideally in an industrial manufacturing field
  • 3+ years of direct management experience required; Sales team management experience preferred
  • Experience and familiarity with virtual P&L management.
  • General management experience preferred
  • Proficient in CRM software tools (Salesforce.com), Power BI and Microsoft Office applications

Travel:
