Location: This position is remote within the United States.
We are looking for a Contract Senior UX Designer to join our team. In this role we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, dedication to innovation, and teamwork with the ability to create innovative solutions across a wide range of design challenges. This project will run from approximately 4/22/2025 - 7/11/2025.
What you’ll do
- Create user flows and high fidelity wireframes
- Interpret consumer and business research into insights that drive the strategy for a new user experience
- Produce audience personas, user journey maps, site maps, detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and user interface specifications.
- Perform metrics analysis to inform design/UX optimization efforts; apply a data driven approach to all design activities.
- Utilize your experience to balance data with instinct in order to make intuitive leaps to solve client design problems.
- Lead user experience research and testing on client projects.
- Drive the development and communication of design and experience guidelines.
- Directly work with clients and the client services team to develop a shared vision of the end product.
- Collaboratively work alongside the engineering team to align with platform standard methodologies and implementation details.
- Are able to work in a rapid development and prototyping environment where effective communication is paramount.
- Mentor more junior team members, as well as serving as a representative for the team within the design community.
Who you are
- We are looking for someone with 5+ years professional experience designing extraordinary responsive websites
- Strong client-facing skills are needed as there will be collaboration sessions with the client throughout this engagement
- 2+ years experience designing in an agency or consultancy
- Strong body of up-to-date work and online portfolio that clearly articulates your contributions
- Proven fluency in standard methodologies for mobile and web information architecture and responsive design, as well as deep and broad knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Strong user experience skill set including strategy, information architecture, and design aesthetic
- Proven ability in a variety of design tools such as Figma, Omnigraffle, Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch and InVision
- Ability to craft prototypes that can be translated into HTML, JavaScript, CSS and related technologies
- Very strong presentation skills
- Experience thinking in design system terms and for platforms or content management systems
- Excellent customer experience intuition; proven success in creating beautiful and user-friendly web applications, business software, mobile apps and consumer-facing digital experiences
- Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment; experience with related processes like Agile and atomic design a strong plus
- Degree in graphic design, human-computer interaction, interaction design, or other relevant experience
