Role Name: Property Management Bookkeeper

Schedule:

  • Full-time (40 hours a week), flexible schedule

Client Timezone: Flexible schedule with some US MST business hours overlap preferred

Job Overview

We’re seeking a skilled bookkeeper with property management expertise to join our client’s growing operation. Responsibilities
  • Execute all financial operations within Appfolio property management software
  • Manage and reconcile transactions across multiple corporate accounts and credit cards
  • Process inter-property financial transfers and maintain accurate transaction records
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable with attention to detail
  • Monitor and reconcile automated rent payment processing
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and closing procedures
  • Maintain detailed financial records for 50+ properties
  • Collaborate with management team to optimize financial processes
  • Support company growth initiatives through scalable bookkeeping practices
Requirements
  • Proven experience with Appfolio property management software (required)
  • Demonstrated background in property management accounting
  • Strong understanding of US accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent English communication skills
