Position Title: Regulatory Stewardship Specialist
Location: Remote, USA
Position Overview:
The Regulatory Stewardship Specialist supports the Regulatory Department’s mission to assist customers, internal colleagues, and other stakeholders with regulatory compliance. This role bridges the gap between business needs and regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with company objectives. The position provides regulatory guidance for commercializing new products, expanding into new and global markets, and maintaining current business, while fostering collaboration across teams to drive success.
Primary Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:
Author Safety Data Sheets (SDS) using SAP to meet GHS requirements.
Evaluate raw materials, ingredients, and formulations for regulatory compliance.
Monitor changes in regulations and/or formulations to ensure compliance of existing products.
Administer regulatory email inboxes and document repositories for multiple groups.
Process Improvement & Efficiency:
Innovate processes to efficiently address customer inquiries.
Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting business demands.
Research and propose solutions for new automations or updated processes.
Customer & Stakeholder Support:
Respond to complex customer regulatory compliance questions, including multi-regulation inquiries.
Liaise with strategic customer regulatory departments to streamline clearance processes.
Counsel business units on safe product use and alert teams to emerging regulatory trends.
Collaboration & Training:
Partner with global regulatory colleagues in the Americas, EIMEA, and AP regions.
Coordinate communications and short training sessions for sales and business teams.
Contribute to cross-functional teams and share customer insights with Product Managers.
Regulatory Trends & Reporting:
Stay current with global regulatory trends to support customer needs.
Monitor and report industry and government news to business and technology teams.
Interpret global regulations to assess their impact on raw materials, formulated products, and end-use applications.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or a Health-related field with a Chemistry foundation.
B.S. with 3+ years or M.S. with 1+ years of experience in a technical/regulatory role with SDS authoring.
Strong communication and presentation skills to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Proven ability to lead initiatives and achieve successful outcomes.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in adapting to change, fostering collaboration, and maintaining customer focus.

Demonstrated operational excellence and the ability to innovate and improve processes.
Operational excellence in improving processes and regulatory workflows.
Strong business acumen with a focus on strategic planning and technical proficiency.
Experience with automation and creating efficiencies within teams.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $76,000 - $100,000.In addition to your salary, H.B.
