Job description

If you’re looking for a special place to build or grow your career, you’ve found it. Whether you’re an experienced professional, a recent college graduate or somewhere in between, IDEX is a place where you can apply your existing skills and learn new ones in an environment where you can make an impact.

With interesting opportunities in engineering, marketing, sales, supply chain, operations, HR, finance, and more across more than 40 diverse businesses around the globe, chances are, we have something special for you.

Primary Function:

As the lead subject matter expert, the Digital ABM Specialist role requires in-place process development experience around crafting and scaling high-impact campaigns that run within an integrated, multi-channel business unit strategy. The process scope includes pre-implementation scoping support of ABM tools & deployment strategies, stakeholder management of the project from kickoff to launch, and continued post-launch engagement to ensure the ABM Playbook is used to deliver predictable business unit impact. The ABM Specialist will provide ongoing leadership to their installed & in-process BU teams on digital execution processes & improvements to ensure the deployment is effective and ROI goals are achieved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Campaigns: Work collaboratively with BU teams to understand their end-to-end marketing strategy and build a clear execution strategy for use of ABM campaigns designed to generate qualified leads, engage target accounts, and maximize conversion rates across the entire sales funnel. You will be a key player in shaping the future of our demand generation.
  • Refine Targeting & Messaging: Assist BU teams with their segmentation efforts & defining key buyer personas to craft tailored messaging that directly addresses their unique value propositions, address needs and known pain points, etc.
  • Analyze & Optimize: Dive deep into BU ABM campaign data to check key metrics—CPL, MQLs, MQAs, conversion rates, pipeline velocity—and find opportunities for optimization. Deliver actionable recommendations to improve performance and ROI.
  • Lead Velocity: Work closely with BU marketing teams to refine the ABM customer journey across digital touchpoints, and to ensure smooth lead handling and transitions (to both channel & direct sales teams) to improve conversion processes.
  • Leverage Marketing Technology: Must be technically sound and well versed in the core fundamentals of ABM implementation, and able to create effective integration strategies between the ABM tool & the BU existing tech stack (6Sense, Microsoft D365, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.) to ensure design flow supports maximum demand generation efforts.
  • Process Leadership: This is not a strategist role—this is a “working role” where you go deep into BU collaboration to understand the business unit “go-to-market” model and target audience in addition to the execution processes to test, optimize, and iterate email campaigns, refining ad copy, funnel reporting, and experimenting – all with the goal to increase the impact of these efforts and enable future state marketing execution.
  • Develop Playbook: As you work with BU teams to deploy 6sense ABM tools (recommended), you will map the BU architecture and process flows & create a playbook that can be shared with expansion BU’s which uses previous learnings & can be consistently implemented to generate repeatable BU results. (This work will include prioritization of efforts based on BU readiness, and may include ecosystem development efforts prior to engaging in ABM launch).
  • Cross IDEX Engagement: Participate in our IDEX Marketing Community and contribute to the effort to enhance the Front-End Marketing Tools & Effectiveness using digital ABM tools.

Requirements:

  • Experience with planning, developing & executing digital marketing strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Account Based Marketing.
  • Experience with 6Sense tools is preferred.
  • Experience in a MANUFACTURING B2B/B2C environment is preferred.
  • Results-oriented, high accountability to design for impact/ROI vs activity.
  • Strong ability to analyze project data and create actionable insights & measure effectiveness.
  • Able to manage multiple projects & vary support needs simultaneously to keep projects on plan.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to challenges.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics365 is preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Comfortable in matrix organization & able to lead tactical & strategic priorities by influence.
  • Strong collaboration abilities – able to pull diverse ideas to build a best approach.
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral), builds sponsorship & engagement proposals.
  • Thoughtful risk taker who uses structured tools to pilot, test, fail, & pivot to accelerate learnings.
