Job Overview
The Manager, Solution Providers plays a pivotal role in leading a team tasked with capturing the significant growth anticipated in IoT and Fixed Wireless through connected solution and service provider (CSP) partners. This role involves structuring an organization and developing an execution plan for a team of Growth Specialists/Business Development professionals focused on driving revenue growth within their designated accounts and territories. The position collaborates with T-Mobile's direct sales teams, CSP Sales and Business Development, and leadership to implement scalable programs and policies that ensure portfolio consistency and profitable outcomes for the enterprise. The Manager, Solution Providers is responsible for ensuring the full financial value of the team's executed contract terms is realized and accelerated in alignment with partner needs and go-to-market (GTM) plans. The ideal candidate is an expert in the IoT and Fixed Wireless ecosystem and understands the unique processes required to capture, manage, and scale connected solution and service providers.

Job Responsibilities:
  • The Manager, Solution Providers and their team will be responsible for working with new/existing partners to implement new business initiatives to drive growth in IoT, Fixed Wireless, and any other product segment through the CSP portfolio.
  • Responsible for functional strategy for working alongside direct sales to identify new CSP partner opportunities, building & managing the sales funnel, driving negotiations, closing deals, and meeting and exceeding the sales objectives and metrics for their respective team.
  • Manage the activities of all the individual contributors in their team with accountability for goals, objectives, and operational policies.
  • Responsible for hiring, termination, performance management, and salary decisions.
  • Will participate in the development of the commercial/pricing strategy.
Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree (Preferred)
  • More than 10 years Strategic Sales and Business Development experience in wireless, high-tech or consumer electronics industries, or with wireless industry OEMs Required
  • 2-4 years Experience managing senior sales teams (customer-facing), sales management, wireless sales, and customer-facing experience. Preferred
  • 2-4 years Experience with creating, developing, negotiating and closing large ($20M+) multiyear complex deals Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Negotiation Experience in negotiating complete complex contracts/exhibits, RFP and RFI responses, co-marketing agreements, and related documentation and collaboration. (Required)
  • Strategic Selling Solution & consultative selling methodologies (Required)
  • Modeling Experience leading business case modeling for complex >$100M/year deals. Exceptionally strong strategic, industry, and financial/economic analysis skills, Solid financial modeling skills. (Preferred)
  • Analysis Ability to analyze and model data for the development of specific strategies, goals and tactics that will solve problems for specific use-cases (Required)
  • Wireless Technologies Sound technical foundation understanding of key wireless and internet technologies, wireless telecom network, OSS/BSS technologies, extensive knowledge of the IoT eco-system including, Infrastructure, Systems, Cloud, Modules, and Platforms. (Required)
  • Product Knowledge Keen and broad business acumen understanding of a wide range of wireless business models. (Required)
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including CEO-level PowerPoint presentation (Required)
  • Presentations Expert presentation and public speaking skills (Required)
  • Management Managed a sales team remotely with demonstrated success (Required)
  • Cross Functional Team Building Strong cross-functional experience with engineering, operations, finance, product development, marketing and other business groups (Required)
  • Portfolio Management Experience managing a large portfolio of external partners (30-50major partners), with direct accountability for P&L and/or partner revenue for $500M/year wireless business (Required)

    Total Target Cash Pay Range: $154,600 - $278,900, inclusive of target incentives

    Base Pay Range: $108,220 - $195,230
