Role Overview :

We’re seeking a Research Operations Specialist who is passionate about supporting impactful research in a globally distributed, remote-first team. Your role will enable Jimdoers and research-informed teams to thrive by providing tools, skills, and operational support. If you're motivated by empowering others, improving processes, and working collaboratively, we want to hear from you!

Your impact:

• Lead and coordinate research sessions, from participant recruitment through analysis support.

• Act as the go-to person for research tools for generative research studies such as recruitment panels or whiteboard tools and internal scoreboards, and guide teams in running their own studies.

• Organize and facilitate training sessions, research learning formats, and bi-weekly office hours.

• Oversee and manage user research cost control and report back to senior leadership. Prioritise and ensure effective spending aligned with strategic priorities.

• Continuously enhance and refine processes around GDPR compliance, ethical standards, and excellent participant experiences.

• Support stakeholders with constructive feedback on research practices and encourage research democratization.

• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across design, product, and research teams.

What you bring:

• 2+ years of experience in research ops or a similar role in digital, product, or design environments.

• Exceptional organizational and coordination skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Solid understanding of GDPR and research ethics—or a willingness to grow in this area.

• Effective communicator, able to coach and support diverse stakeholders.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote-first setup, with strong collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English. Proficiency in German is a plus.

• Experience with research tools for generative research studies or demonstrated capability to quickly learn new tools and skills is a plus.
