Senior Product Manager

Position Summary:

The Sr. Product Manager, Healthcare OS with a focus on Back-End Development, will be responsible for managing the development and integration of the back-end services and architecture of the Inmar Intelligence Platform. This role requires a technically proficient product manager who can bridge the gap between engineering and product strategy, ensuring that the platform’s back-end is robust, scalable, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

Reporting directly to the Director of Product - HealthcareOS, the Product Manager will work closely with engineering teams, other product managers, and stakeholders to deliver a seamless, high-performance back-end that supports the platform’s front-end and overall functionality. An engineering background is preferred, as this role demands a deep understanding of back-end technologies, data management, and integration processes.

Primary Accountabilities:

Back-End Product Strategy and Vision (25%)

• Define and drive the vision for the back-end architecture and services of the Inmar Intelligence Platform, ensuring alignment with overall platform strategy.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient back-end solutions.

• Ensure that back-end services are built to support current and future platform requirements, with a focus on performance and reliability.

Product Development and Execution (50%)

• Lead the planning, development, and deployment of back-end features, ensuring that they integrate seamlessly with the front-end and other platform components.

• Work closely with data engineers and architects to manage data flows, API integrations, and microservices architecture.

• Maintain a product roadmap for back-end development, prioritizing features and improvements based on technical requirements and business needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration (25%)

• Collaborate with front-end product managers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and integrated platform.

• Participate in cross-functional meetings and technical discussions to align back-end development with overall platform goals.

• Advocate for best practices in back-end development, including API management, data security, and system scalability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent related experience.

• 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on back-end development, including at least 2 years of experience working closely with engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of back-end technologies, including microservices architecture, API development, database management, and cloud infrastructure.

• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects, with experience in agile development processes.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable product strategies.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to use hands to operate computer and office equipment.

• Frequently required to communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders, both in person and virtually.

• Occasionally required to move or lift up to 25 pounds.
