Job description

THIS POSITION IS REMOTE/WORK FROM HOME WITH POTENTIAL UP TO 25% TRAVEL WITH MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT AT THE CURRENT IRS GUIDELINE RATE.

APPLICANTS MUST RESIDE IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS. THE WORK SCHEDULE IS MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM - 5PM CENTRAL TIME ZONE.

Position Purpose: Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of the EPSDT (Early Preventative Screening Diagnostic Testing) program. Ensure compliance of EPSDT with all state and federal requirements and NCQA standards.

  • Conduct outreach to encourage enrollees to access preventative care and assist with making appointments/arrangements as necessary
  • Monitor provider compliance with EPSDT program
  • Collaborate with and communicate to providers the importance of all aspects of the EPSDT program, including blood testing, immunization schedules, and periodicity schedule compliance
  • Maintains appropriate records, files, documentation, etc.
  • Develop newsletters, articles, and web postings centered on EPSDT elements directed at members and providers
  • Assist in development, implementation and coordination of improvement plans to obtain/surpass the performance goals set by the Health Plans
  • Coordinate with other Health Plan departments and strategize improvement plan interventions and appropriate outreach activities.
  • Facilitate EPSDT related reviews and follow up that are initiated by the state
  • Attend EPSDT related DOH meetings as appropriate

Education/Experience: Associate’s degree in related area or equivalent experience. 1+ years of community relations or public health/service experience, preferably in a managed care or pediatric environment.

Pay Range: $22.79 - $38.84 per hour
