The Solutions Architect - Data will implement data and advanced analytics workloads, including data modeling, visualization, artificial intelligence, and analytics solutions for our company’s end customers and partners. They will collaborate with Solutions Architects in installing, configuring, and deploying these solutions in a sustainable and cost-effective way to provide value and insight to our customers.

Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:
Responsible for the implementation of Power BI and Fabric technology including:
Ingestion, transformation, modeling of data from disparate workloads into Microsoft Fabric
Transformation of data models leveraging Fabric notebooks
Design and creation of DAX measures of varying complexity
Creation of data visualizations within Power BI that adhere to best practices and accessibility standards
Provide guidance to SHI customers and partners on best practices and governance for Power BI and Fabric deployments
Assist with the deployment and configuration of Microsoft Purview for data cataloging, auditing, and security.
Assist with creating environment recommendations that best suit the customer’s needs balanced with their current investments to create a cost-effective implementation.
Migrating and deploying multiple Power BI and Fabric workloads utilizing SHI’s standards and best practices.
Responsible for analyzing and collecting environment discovery data utilizing our company’s developed tools and discovery scripts.
Build and update documentation on customer Power BI and Fabric environments and integrations.
Assist Solution Architects with project tasks for Power BI and Fabric tenant migrations and consolidations.
Organize, engage, and consult on ideas with customers on Power BI and Fabric technology.
Assist the delivery team on project tasks, working with other project team members and being accountable for the outcome of the project.
Document best practices, lessons learned, and delivery guidance to customers, partners, and internal resources.
Collaborate with the sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer discovery and scoping meetings and presentations.

Qualifications
Completed Bachelor’s, Technical degree, or related work experience in Computer Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience with Power BI.
Minimum 1 years’ experience with Microsoft Fabric.
Minimum 3 years’ technical experience with increasing responsibility.
Minimum 2 years’ experience with data modeling and analytics.

Proficiency with the implementation and support of Power BI and Fabric solutions.
Basic understanding of executing scripts and connecting to environments utilizing PowerShell.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years’ experience of Architect services
Experience with delivering pixel-perfect data visualizations

Experience with using Python and/or R for data visualization and statistical analysis
Certifications Required
Must obtain PL-300, DP-600, and DP-700 certifications within 9 months of hire.
Unique Requirements
Travel to customer sites, up to 10% annually
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $180,000 - $225,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
