Job description

As a lead data engineer (machine learning) on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Emerging Technology team, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and deploying innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies to address complex business challenges within the customer experience. Your expertise in building infrastructure and data engineering will be essential in developing robust and scalable solutions to deploy and operationalize machine learning. You’ll build necessary data pipelines to support data science models, enable efficient access to multiple data sources, support packaging, deploy new models or updated models to production. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and mentor other members of the CRM Data Solutions team, including Data Scientists, Business Intelligence Developers, and Process Consultants, on the latest advancements in technology.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must-have Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of five years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.
In lieu of degree, minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.

Preferred Skills

Cloud experience with preferably AWS (EC2, S3, Athena, Lambda, etc.) and Openshift
Experience with Linux, Python, Git, Terraform, SQL, building APIs (FastAPI), containers (Docker)
Ability to develop and scale web applications / APIs using open source tools
Self-learner with ability to scope and recommend new tools (patterns, cloud services, etc.) as required by projects
Experience understanding business goals and capabilities and utilizing data to achieve those goals

Compensation

$136,400 - $160,400/year
Gainshare annual cash performance incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
