Business Development Recruitment Consultant
Location: Remote (South Africa)
Salary: R25,000 - R28,000 basic + commission
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (UK time)
We are a well-established specialist recruitment firm focusing on Finance and Accountancy placements across the UK and USA. Due to sustained growth and a solid delivery reputation, we are now looking for a Business Development Recruitment Consultant to join our team and help expand our in-house accountancy client base in the UK.
This is a unique opportunity to work remotely from South Africa, joining a supportive and ambitious team with access to a quality database, an immediate candidate network, and strong internal delivery capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business development with a focus on acquiring in-house finance and accountancy clients
Convert warm leads and prospects from our internal CRM/database
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
Collaborate with recruiters and internal teams to present and spec out high-quality candidates
Regularly engage in daily catch-ups for market insights, pipeline reviews, and team collaboration
Requirements:
Previous experience in Finance and Accountancy recruitment is preferred but not essential
Proven background in B2B sales or business development (other industries welcome)
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Confidence in communicating with stakeholders at all levels
Driven by results and motivated by achieving targets
Able to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setup
Quick learner with a growth mindset and strong work ethic
Comfortable working UK hours from South Africa
Preferred but not essential:
