Job Description

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing programs, communications campaigns, and promotions that drive growth, engagement, and awareness of IPS Rebates with members, supplier partners and distributors They will work closely with the Director of Marketing and other key internal stakeholders to collaborate and oversee the growth and retention strategy via the Smart a la Carte member portal.  

 

This is a remote position - ideal candidate should reside in Central/Eastern time zone. 

Job Responsibilities

Smart a la Carte Promotional Member Portal:

  • Lead enhancements and improvements of the Smart a la Care member portal and rewards program.
  • Successfully implement Wave 1 of the Smart Rewards program, encompassing comprehensive site enhancements, strategic product selection, and efficient fulfillment processes. This initiative aims to enhance user engagement, streamline operations, and deliver exceptional value to our members.
  • Develop and maintain member content in the portal to drive compliance and program opportunities.
  • Create promotional kits collaborating with IPS Manager of Manufacturer Relations aligned with manufacturer products and seasonal events that drive member and manufacturer value and growth.
  • Develop strategies to increase member enrollment in Smart a la Carte.
  • Manage relationship with third-party fulfillment company, Integrated Marketing Technologies.
  • Measure and analyze Smart a la Carte metrics and performance, reporting monthly on key findings and opportunities.

Communication Platform: 

  • Develop and implement member communication strategies to convey IPS Rebates value.
  • Partner with the Director of Marketing to create compelling content, such as videos and case studies, showcasing IPS Rebates solutions and benefits.
  • Manage the IPS Rebates consumer-facing website to drive engagement.
  • Analyze website traffic and engagement to measure digital efforts' success.
  • Utilize K12 insights and educational resources from the School Nutrition Association (SNA) and other platforms to influence communication strategies.
  • Lead the Marketing Specialist in creating collateral and promotions for State and National Conferences working with creative agencies and fulfillment partners.
  • Oversee HubSpot integration and CRM transition for marketing automation and email campaigns.

Promotions Platform:

  • Plan and execute strategic promotional campaigns to enhance IPS Rebates brand visibility, drive significant growth, and deliver exceptional value to both members and manufacturers. This includes developing targeted marketing strategies, leveraging data insights, and fostering strong partnerships to maximize engagement and retention. Develop and manage the annual member promotions calendar.
  • Collaborate with an external design agency on content and creative development.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using key metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following professional experience and skills:

  • A successful candidate must possess a 4-year college degree in Marketing or Communications.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional marketing and/or communication experience, demonstrating a record of progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Experience in developing short and long-term marketing strategies.
  • Experience with email service providers (e.g. HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Financial acumen, budget development and people management skills
  • Above average computer skills, specifically in Microsoft office applications - MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to synthesize multiple inputs into a clear, concise, and valuable recommendation.
  • Foodservice Industry experience is a plus, K12 segment experience is an additional asset.

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.​
