Job Summary:


We are seeking a dedicated and talented Regional Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, increasing brand recognition, and cultivating customer loyalty within an assigned geographic territory. You will supervise a team of freelance contractors while working closely with key retail partners and store staff to ensure the success of our products and services. A strong in-store presence is essential as you build lasting relationships with store teams and influence product placement and promotions on the sales floor.

As a member of the Retail team, you will collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Consultant and report directly to the Director of Sales. 

 

This role is classified as exempt from the Fair Labor Standard Act’s overtime requirements, is remote, and is open to candidates based in the New York / New Jersey areas (EST work hours). The work environment is primarily remote, requiring reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace free from significant distractions.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

Essential Job Functions


  • Drive team revenue goals through product education, consultation, merchandising, and promotional activities, ensuring consistent sales growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, department heads, and sales associates to foster brand loyalty and enhance sales performance.
  • Oversee freelance team scheduling and store rotations to optimize retail sales performance, ensuring that the team is aligned with sales goals.
  • Manage freelancer budgets and compile bi-weekly inventory reports from stores to ensure financial efficiency and product availability.
  • Plan and execute regional and national events to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and maximize sales.
  • Provide field insights, customer feedback, and sales performance reports to internal teams, contributing to the optimization of future strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop and execute tailored sell-through strategies at a store-by-store level, ensuring effective product placement and sales growth.
  • Travel up to 75% overnight


Non-Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed to support departmental goals.
  • Provide backup coverage for team members during absences or peak workload periods.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks or clerical duties as assigned.
  • Support cross-departmental efforts or collaborative initiatives when required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3-5 years of relevant sales and retail experience.

Physical Requirements 

 

This role requires the following physical capabilities:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
  • Prolonged periods standing, bending, stooping, and reaching 
  • Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
  • Must be able to travel frequently, sometimes requiring long periods of driving or riding in a vehicle.
  • Must be able to focus on detailed work for extended periods, which may lead to eye strain or fatigue.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that require fine motor skills, including typing and using a mouse.
  • Must be able to carry and transport promotional or sales materials.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, often time-sensitive environment.
