Overview:

AvMed, a division of Sentara Health Plans in the Florida market, is hiring a Customer Service Representative I. This is a remote position however candidates must reside in the Miami area in Florida.

Hours of operations are Monday- Friday from 11:30am to 8:00pm. Must be flexible to work on Saturdays with a weekend rotation.

Responsible for all areas of customer service as it pertains to research and resolution of telephone inquiries from members or patients. Primarily responsible for handling incoming calls to effectively address issues related to either member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues or patient services needs such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, or patient scheduling. Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education.

Education:

  • High School diploma.

Experience:

  • 2 years of customer service experience required.
  • Prior Data Entry exposure.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$16.35 - $23.08Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
